Pioneer's Diary

It is father's day today....wow what a wonderful day.It makes me think of all the great men in our lives.Men like our fathers who have always been there for us through the rain and storms.Someone once told me that there is a big difference between a 'FATHER' and a 'donor'.....We see lots of young boys who have about 2 or 3 kids with different mothers and some are responsible and practically take care of the kids...others dont.
Oh well at the end of the day it takes a man to raise up a child and be there for that child..when i woke up this morning, the first thing i did was to call my father and told him how much i love him and i thanked him for all what he has done in my life.I later went to church to thank my heavenly father who is the main reason why am still alive today
I later decided to cook some nice dinner for the family. I prepared some fried plantain with fish, rice and cassava leaves, pepper chicken with fried rice, and  some ginger beer to cool them down in this hot weather even though they complained  that the beer was kinda hot......It took me forever to do all this cos i only have two hands and two feet. All the same, the family ate until they couldnt even call out their own names.
Right now am watching some nice african movies...will get back to my 'young salone pioneers' after am done.
have a good one everybody.Happy father's day gentlemen with children.

Awww this made me happy that me and you share this same love and respect for our fathers. You already wrote everything i was going to elaborate on.  For me Father's day is everyday ti me because i cherish and love my father with every bone in body. he makes me happy whenever i'm unhappy. he cries when he sees me in pain. he made so many sacrifices for me to be the person i am today. He is my foundation, my support and my personal confidant. in my book he is the best father any child could ask for and want.. without him by my side i dont know what life would have made out of me. Happy Father's to my father and all the men who own up to their responsibilities after they created a child... especially men who are in their daughters' lives because women need that special love and respect from their fathers. so i salute all the great dads around the world.

                                          Mon JUNE 20
I just didnt like the weather today. It was very hot today during the day and by the time i left work to come home,i started feelin a lil bit chilly.Well i guess am bout to fall sick again cos everytime the weather starts changing i start feeling sick.I was texting my Blog partner this morning and i had to call her 'Meg',from family guy. hahahaha and she had the audacity to call me 'Stewie'. Is she being serious? Stewie is such an evil baby ,that always has thoughts of controlling the world and killing his mother.hahahahah.Imagine having a baby like that.
nothing exciting happened today. I just investigated bout lots of young salone pioneers who are doing so well for themselves and helping put Mama Salone on the map. My blog partner and i are so excited to write about these youths.I guess is more work for us.We love what we are doing and we will work hard to always give the right informations.
Ok time to go and chit chat on the phone .Then eat my dinner.i just realized i really need to start hitting the gym.All these fufu and soup and rice and cassava leaves are making me gain a lil something something.hahahahah.
FAMILY guy starts at 11 pm...yessssssssssss. Am so excited to see 'Peter' embarrass himself with his dumbness.hahahah.
Well i guess after that,i just have  to do my nightly prayer ,and take my self to the lala land....Goodnight everyone

Im really happy that we made this blog even though we try to make it a website but i prefer the blog because it easy to access and i enjoy reading about Sierra Leoneans who are doing great things and promoting their country in a more positive light. May God Continue to bless all of us... Salone is my heart and first love and i will shed tears and blood for our home... Today i have been feeling a little bit unwell but i thank God for his blessings and with him all things are possible.
