This Site is Created by the youths of Salone for entertainment purposes while appreciating our culture and also promoting our country. It's also to empower the salone Communities in the diaspora to expose our country in more positive light to the rest of the world.
In my opinion, I think one of the leading problems in the Salone community is the lack of empowerment and advancement of girls and women. I believe that our girls and women need to be empowered in many ways in order to achieve excellence and I believe that education will be an important step in getting there. Education varies in many ways which include academics, knowledge about safe sex and sexual health, self-esteem, etc. In life, I believe that when women in society are empowered, open to all opportunities, and treated as equal members of society, then society benefits and it makes positive changes on everyone in society.
